Among several buzzwords that have been surfacing in discussions about the year’s biggest mobility trends, Big Data is on the tip of everyone’s tongue.
Big Data refers, quite simply, to the field of analytics, and how we can predict patterns using a set of data. This trend to dive headfirst into the details has also been aptly labeled “people analytics”. While historically within mobility much of the data has been under-utilized, with the strategic blending of talent management and mobility, program administrators now have access to a greater wealth of information, and there arises a more pressing need to absorb and organize the messages to turn them into results.
