Immigration UPDATES: China: New Entry-Exit Law in Shanghai

As of July 1st, the Chinese government implemented a new Entry-Exit Law, replacing existing regulations that had been in effect since 1986.

This new regulation changes visa classifications and defines what is considered ‘illegal work’, as well as imposing harsher penalties for illegal employment.
